Founders are Honored with Jamhuriwood Award

Nancy and Rod Van Sciver, Founders of Education for All Children were honored with the Jamhuriwood Award for Humanitarian and Non-Profits on August 14, 2010 at the Westin Hotel, Waltham, MA. The goal of the Jamhuriwood Awards is to honor the exceptional work that Kenyans and friends of Kenya are doing in Africa but also to unite Kenyans. It is also a platform geared towards creating networking opportunities for students, professionals and leaders to collaborate through education, investment, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy. It was an unexpected honor for this young organization.

President Clinton, in November 2009, visited the Franklin Pierce house in Concord, NH. EFAC founder, Nancy Van Sciver, attended the event and met with President Clinton following the ceremony. Nancy had a moment to share her excitement and vision for Education For All Children with former president Bill Clinton.
