Sponsoring a child through our four year scholarship program brings you more than just the joy of giving. You will forge connections across oceans and make a real difference in a child's life. It is our hope that scholars and their sponsors develop enduring or even lifelong relationships, and the commitment to education enriches lives on both continents. At the end of each term donors receive grades and letters from their students, and many sponsors respond through EFAC with letters and photos of their own. Some of our sponsors traveled to Kenya with an EFAC group and met their students, explored their schools and surrounding areas. Many added to the excitement and cultural diversity by adding a safari to their trip. The overwhelming consensus was that the experience enriched their lives and the connection they had developed with their sponsored student by providing a greater understanding of Africa, its people and the challenges it faces.

How incredible! Thank you so much! We read it aloud together as a family. My youngest, Abe (9) said "Oh, I have to see her grades!" He was so proud of how well she is doing. Amazing for us all to be connected in this way. I couldn't help but get choked up as she offered encouragement to my children and inspired them to work hard. Thank you so much for organizing and sharing!

I just arrived home to my EFAC packet. After reading your message and the letter from Teya I feel so much more connected. I have goose bumps and tears and I feel really proud to be a part of this. Thank you for the opportunity. I am praying that Teya will be everything she wants to be and more!
PAIGE COVERT
What a joy to follow the progress and share in the hope and aspirations of a child working to fulfill a dream. The opportunity to be part of the EFAC vision is a gift we all share as a family. It makes us happy. It makes us smile.

Our family is currently sponsoring four EFAC students. Meeting "our kids" on our trip to Kenya last spring was certainly an eye-opener and a moving experience that brought us much closer to them. Our correspondence with them has become more personal and engaged, and we have a new-found appreciation for the country's culture. We are delighted to be part of an organization that works towards giving these Kenyan children a brighter future.

Education for All Children tackles a difficult problem head on; educating children in one of the poorest parts of the world. By providing education, EFAC is helping raise a generation of adults who will be able to break the vicious twin cycles of poverty and violence that have affected much of Africa ... If you want to make a difference and get the biggest return on your investment, EFAC is worthy of your support.
